Principal trombonist of the London Symphony OrchestraIn 2008, at the age of 12, he became the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician Competition, and at the age of 18 he was appointed deputy principal trombonist of the London Symphony Orchestra.
In recent years, he has performed as a soloist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Ulster Orchestra, Thai Philharmonic Orchestra, Barcelona Wind Symphony Orchestra, and Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
He has given recitals at Wigmore Hall, the Barbican, the Hay-on-Wye Music Festival, participated in the BBC Proms in Melbourne, Australia, and given recitals at Yonsei University's Kumho Art Hall in Seoul.
In the 2017/18 season, he will perform solo tours in China and Colombia, and will return to Wigmore Hall to perform Toru Takemitsu's ``Phantasma Cantos II'' with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Selected for YCAT in 2014.
