Ken Takazeki, Conductor
While studying at Toho Gakuen, he won the Karajan Conductor Competition Japan. He studied in Berlin and worked as an assistant to Mr. Karajan. At the Tanglewood Music Festival, he received instruction from Mr. Bernstein and Mr. Seiji Ozawa, and in 1981 he conducted the Bergen Symphony Orchestra in Europe, and in 1985 he made his debut in Japan at the regular concert of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, he has performed as a guest performer with the Wiener Symphony Orchestra, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Deutsche Symphony Orchestra Berlin, the Klangforum Wien, and the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as with domestic orchestras. In February 2013, he conducted the St. Petersburg Philharmonic regular concert, bringing out the rich sound of the prestigious Russian orchestra, and was highly praised by the audience and the orchestra. In 2012, at the Japan premiere of Shchedrin's work, he was highly praised by Mr. Argerich and Mr. Maisky, and has gained tremendous trust from soloists. He has served as Music Director and Permanent Conductor of the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Permanent Conductor of the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Permanent Conductor of the Osaka Century Symphony Orchestra, Music Director of the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, and Chief Conductor of the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra. In February 2011, he appeared for the first time in an opera performance at the New National Theater in "Yuzuru" and was well received. Received the 4th Akeo Watanabe Music Foundation Music Award (1996) and the 10th Hideo Saito Memorial Fund Award (2011). Invited Professor of Conducting Department, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. In April 2014, he was appointed as the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra's Principal Guest Conductor.

Yuko Hisamoto
He is highly acclaimed as a pianist who combines intelligence and sensibility, delicacy and dynamism. He has performed with Yomikyo, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Sakkyo Orchestra, Berlin String Quartet and Sawa Quartet. He has also appeared in many concerts using historical instruments such as Walther, Pleyel and Erard. In 2010, on the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth, he performed in front of the Emperor and Empress at Oga Hall in Karuizawa. In 2011, her recital at the Bösendorfer Saal in Vienna was acclaimed and was featured on the cover of the Austrian piano magazine Weinberger. In 2012, she was invited to give a recital at the Rovereto International Mozart Festival in Italy. The CD "Haydn and Mozart" (Kojima recording) was selected as one of the Mainichi Shimbun CD selections. Based on his performance experience, he has published many books such as "Mozart's Piano Music Research" (Ongakunotomosha). Also, with the aim of capturing music from multiple perspectives, he has worked on lecture recitals that include lectures, and has been featured in the Asahi Shimbun Tensei Jingo. After studying instrumental music (piano major) at the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, completed the master's course at the university's graduate school. New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra
"Let's play music together!" Founded in 1972 as a self-managed orchestra under the direction of conductor Seiji Ozawa. Since 1997, Sumida Triphony Hall has been the home of the group, and in addition to its regular concerts, it is also characterized by performance activities rooted in the local community. From the 2013/2014 season, Conductor in Residence Ingo Metzmacher (Autumn 2013) and Music Partner of NJP Daniel Harding (Autumn 2010) will face the duo. Awards he has received include the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Music Award (2009, conducted by Arming) and the Music Pen Club Music Award (2009, conducted by Brüggen). In 2004, he established the "New Japan Philharmonic World Dream Orchestra" with the musician Joe Hisaishi, and was in charge of the orchestra in the movie "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea". In recent years, it has been highly acclaimed for its excellent performances and innovative projects, and has been introduced in the media as "one of Japan's new big three orchestras."
