Hans Peter Schuh
Born 1956 in Pingau, Austria. Studied under Helmut Wabisch at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Since 1976, he has been a trumpeter with the Linz Bruckner Orchestra, the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic since 1978, and has been the principal trumpeter since 1993. Since 1991 he has been a professor at Graz University of Music and Arts. He has appeared in many concerts in Japan and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician, including the Vienna Hofburg Kapelle and Ensemble 11. He is also active in international academies and festivals such as PMF and Kusatsu.
