Tremendous trust of master Celibidache
Born 1961 in Schwerm, Germany. From the age of 18, he became principal player of the City of Gelsenkirchen Symphony Orchestra, and in 1983 he became principal player of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. Having earned the trust of the great master Celibidache, he has performed with the Munich Philharmonic in many places in Germany and around the world. He has released many CDs and has received works dedicated by composers such as Hans Stadtlmijr and Peter Michael Hamel. He has performed at many international music festivals with Natalia Gutmann, Yuri Bashmet, Eduard Brunner, Vasily Lobanov and others. In 1993, when he gave a master class at Senzoku Gakuen University, he was awarded the degree of Visiting Professor. Since 1994 he has been professor at the Liszt Academy in Weimar.
