Formed in 1984. A quartet that is currently attracting the most attention in Europe. Winner of the 2nd Melbourne International Competition in 1995, he also won the Audience Award, the unanimous Critics Award and the ABC Classic FM Listener's Choice Award. Since then, he has been actively touring the world and actively holding master classes. They have performed at major halls around the world such as the Concertgebouw and Wigmore Hall, steadily gaining recognition and being invited to major music festivals around the world. His first CD, which included Carl Nielsen's string quartets, was released in 1995 and quickly attracted attention, winning the Norwegian Grammy Award.
