Tadaaki Kato ,Trombone

Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Instrumental Music (trombone major).
He studied trombone under the late Naoyuki Shiraishi, the late Yukio Nagahama, Satoshi Kamiya, Ian Bousfield, Yoshiki Hakoyama, and Koichiro Yamamoto.
So far, he has performed in orchestras and brass bands as an extra, in studio work, and in musicals. After working as a part-time lecturer at the Tokyo University of the Arts Orchestral Research Department, he is currently a soloist and a member of the Trio “N” and brass quintet Buzz Five, visiting all over the country for concerts and outreach activities.
He also puts a lot of effort into teaching the next generation, and has gained a great deal of trust as a band director in the field of brass band, and as a lecturer and coordinator at workshops in the field of outreach.

Japan premiere of J. Francais Trombone Concerto as a soloist at the Sinfonietta Shizuoka regular performance in 2021.

(One Foundation) Registered artist for regional creation public hall music activation support project. "Classical for Children" registered artist (Sony Music Foundation).

Members of Trio "N", Brass Quintet Buzz Five, Ensemble Dongfeng, The Best Bee-Brass in Japan, and Sinfonietta Shizuoka. Director of Ryutsu Keizai University brass band club.
