everyone!
It's late October and it's getting colder and colder.
Even though autumn has just begun, there are times when you can feel the signs of winter.
I'm having trouble telling all the Septura students who are coming to Japan next month how thickly they should wear their clothes.
Now, the third part of this corner introducing the charm of Septura is an introduction to Peter Moore, one of the world's best trombone players!
Peter Moore/Trombone
Principal trombonist of the London Symphony Orchestra.
In 2008, at the age of 12, he became the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician Competition, and at the age of 18 he was appointed deputy principal trombonist of the London Symphony Orchestra.
He has performed as a soloist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Ulster Orchestra, Thai Philharmonic Orchestra, Barcelona Wind Symphony Orchestra, and Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
In recent years, he has been active internationally, including recitals at Wigmore Hall, Barbican, Hay-on-Wye Music Festival, BBC Proms in Melbourne, Australia, and recitals at Kumho Art Hall, Yonsei University in Seoul. It's showing.
In the 2017/18 season, he toured solo in China and Colombia, returned to Wigmore Hall, and was the soloist in Toru Takemitsu's Phantasma/Cantos II on the London Symphony Orchestra's Japan tour conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.
Peter, a leading trombone player, is also a Yamaha International Artist.
He is also active as a soloist, so please come and enjoy the harmonies he creates with a brass septet!
