Profile

Born in Chiba Prefecture.After attending Nihon University Toyoyama High School, graduated from Nihon University College of Art Department of Music at the top of his class.Won the Dean's Award of the College of Art.Performed in Yomiuri Rookie Concert etc.Entered Nihon University graduate school.Performed and researched Liszt's works. In March 2006, he obtained a Ph.D. (art) degree through research related to the "transcendence of technique" listed on the list.From October 2001, he was a Hungarian government-sponsored student, and from April 2003, he studied overseas at Nihon University Graduate School. Trained at the Hungarian National Liszt Conservatory as a scholarship student.Since then, based in Budapest, performing while traveling between Japan and other parts of the world.
In June 2001, he won the Grand Prix of the 20th Iizuka Newcomer Music Competition.In November 2003, he received a diploma at the 4th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Weimar, Germany, and used Liszt at the Liszt Haus. Since 2001, he has given a successful solo recital almost every year.The recital at Kioi Hall in March 2004 was very moving. In June 2005, he received great acclaim at a concert series in Ottbeuren, Germany.At a concert in Austria Riding (Franz Liszt's birthplace) in March 2005. In August, he performed at the music festival in Kotor, a World Heritage city on the Adriatic coast, and in October of the same year, he was invited to the Japan-EU exchange commemorative concert hosted by the Japanese Embassy in Budapest. Joint concert with a Czech quartet.
Since 2002, he has performed with Kemal Gekic since "Music Laboratory" at Green Hall Sagami Ono.In 2006, he performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in June (Hamamatsu Act City) and December (Acros Fukuoka). In December 2008, Beethoven performed the two-piano version (1854 Schott version) by Liszt's arrangement of the symphonic piano "Ninth of Flames". Symphony No. 9 was a sparkly collaboration (Tokyo and Fukuoka).
Since the concert in 2002, he has been invited to Memmingen, Germany many times.In November 2009, he opened the much-talked-about "Dance of Death Exhibition" -Everybody Tanz mit dem Totentanz- held at a museum in Memmingen. I performed Liszt's "Dance of Death" at the exhibition.I have been asked to perform one night during the closing week of this exhibition (May 1, 2010)
Since April 2009, he has been teaching piano at Japan Women's University and holding master classes in various places.
So far, he has studied piano under Midori Matsutani, Shioko Yoshida, Atsuko Okada, Akira Jinno, Vladimir Tropp, Kalman Drafy, and Kemal Gekic, and musicology and performance interpretation under Noriko Ashikawa.
