Biography
Born in Croatia in 1962. Studied at the Novi Sad Conservatory in the former Yugoslavia. Obtained a diploma with the highest score ever. In 1981, he won the International Liszt Piano Competition. At the Chopin International Competition in 1985, he won an honorary prize with overwhelming support from the audience. Since then, he has performed actively in various parts of the world and has been very well received. Actively recording CDs with a wide repertoire, he has established an unshakable position as a leading figure in Liszt's performances in particular. Professor at Florida International University.
