The Chamber Brass (brass quintet)
Formed by Kazuaki Kikumoto (trumpet), Eiji Yamamoto (trumpet), Hiroshi Kigawa (horn), Wataru Ikegami (trombone), and Yukihiro Ikeda (tuba), all brass players who are active in Japan's leading orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The brass quintet "The Chamber Brass". The repertoire is wide-ranging, from classical masterpieces to musical numbers and original works for brass quintet. With his exquisite technique and ensemble ability cultivated in Japan's top orchestra, he has fascinated many audiences, from beginners to fans of brass instruments.

Kazuaki Kikumoto (trumpet)
Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts at the top of his class and graduated from the same graduate school at the top of the class. He also studied at the Freiburg Hochschule für Musik and the Karlsruhe Hochschule für Musik. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, and has been the principal trumpet player of the NHK Symphony Orchestra since 2012. Won 1st prize at the 19th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition, 1st prize at the 72nd Music Competition of Japan, Masuzawa Prize, E. Nakamichi Prize, Audience Award, 2nd prize at Jeju Brass Competition, Rieksa International Trumpet and He has also won awards in international competitions, including 3rd prize in competitions, 2nd prize in the Ellsworth Smith International Trumpet Solo Competition and the Chosen Vale Prize. Eiji Yamamoto (trumpet)
Born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1999. In 2000, he won the 69th Japan Music Competition Trumpet Section. So far, he has played trumpet by Genzo Kitamura, chamber music by Eiichi Inagawa, and has held masterclasses with ex-Vienna Philharmonic principal Hans Gansch, Vienna Philharmonic principal Hans-Peter Schuh, and former Metropolitan Opera Orchestra principal Marc Schu. Studied under Mr. Gould. Joined the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra in 2004 and joined the NHK Symphony Orchestra in 2014. Kunitachi College of Music Lecturer, Toho Gakuen Lecturer, Executive Director of the Japan Trumpet Association.

Hiroshi Kigawa (horn)
Received 1st place in the horn category at the 20th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition, the Judge's Special Award, the Encouragement Award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the Tokyo Governor's Award. Received a diploma at the 39th Markneukirchen International Competition. While in college, he performed as a soloist with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, and the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra. Performed recitals at Tokyo Opera City Recital Series "B→C", Tokyo Spring Music Festival, etc. Participated in Saito Kinen Festival, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy, PMF, Kusatsu International Music Academy & Festival. In 2013, he received the “Sakuya Kono Hana Award” from Osaka City. Graduated from the high school attached to Tokyo College of Music. Studied under Nobuyuki Mizuno, Yuichi Tominari, and Mitsuyo Okamoto. After graduating, he studied under CF Darmann at the Berlin University of the Arts. After working with the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, he has been a member of the NHK Symphony Orchestra since September 2015. BRASS CODE 12, member of Izumi Sinfonietta Osaka. Part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts.

Kou Ikegami (trombone)
NHK Symphony Orchestra trombonist. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. Won 3rd place in the 8th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Received the 3rd Idemitsu Music Award Encouragement Award. Joined the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra in 1989 while in college. In 1995, he transferred to the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra as principal flutist. In 2001, he moved to the NHK Symphony Orchestra, where he continues to this day.
Visiting professor at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Part-time lecturer at Showa University of Music.

●Yukihiro Ikeda (Tuba)
Born in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Won the 3rd prize in the 12th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition while studying at Kunitachi College of Music. Graduated from the same university at the top of his class with the Yatabe Award. After graduating, he joined the Osaka Municipal Music Group. In the same year, he won the 1st prize at the 15th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Markneukirchen International Competition (Germany), 4th prize and diploma prize in the tuba category. In 2005, he transferred to the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Performed many concertos at the NHK Symphony Orchestra Orchard and regular performances of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, gaining popularity.
Released the first solo album "Concertino" in 2010. He has studied under Eiichi Inagawa and Hideki Egawa. Currently a tuba player of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts, Kunitachi College of Music, and Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts. Members of N-crafts, Tokyo Brass Symphony, Nagisa Brass Zorisden, Brass Hexagon, and Japan Tuba Soloists. Director of the Japan Euphonium and Tuba Association.
