Robert Davidovich vn.
Born in Romania. In 1966, he won the Australian Broadcasting Commission Concerto Competition and studied under I. Galamian at the Juilliard School after moving to the United States. In 1983, he won the Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition. Concertmaster of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Visiting Professor of the University of British Columbia, and Principal Concertmaster of the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently Professor and Artistic Director at Florida International University.
