Graduated from Toho Girls High School Music Department. While studying at the Music Department of Toho Gakuen University, he studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He has performed with many famous conductors in Japan and abroad, including Jean-Pierre Varèse, Naohiro Totsuka, Taijiro Iimori, Shunsaku Tsutsumi, the late Sakae Sakakibara, Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Tetsuji Honna, Christian Lindbergh, and Nori Iimori. In March 2011, he performed Grieg's Piano Concerto with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kazuhiro Koizumi.
Since 2006, a series of concerts "Emiko Imagawa ~ Schubertiade", centered on playing all of Schubert's piano sonatas, has received a lot of attention from all quarters.
So far, he has studied piano with Kazuko Ariga, Classimira Jordan, Dianko Ilief, Heinz Medimorek, Roland Keller, the late Georg Vaschaheli, and Sergei Edelmann.
Her sophisticated Viennese classical pianism never ceases to fascinate listeners, but in recent years, she has ``has established herself as a talented group supporting the middle class'' (Ongaku no Tomo) and ``dramatic and majestic. It can be said that his expression surpassed the common sense of ordinary Japanese pianists, and he overwhelmed the listeners with his powerful and brilliant power of expression (Musica Nova). He is steadily building his career as a talented pianist, such as appearing at the top.
The CD includes Beethoven's piano sonatas "Pathétique", "Moonlight" and "Farewell", the first album "Bee." The second album was released from Bellwood Records.
