Shuku Iwasaki [Piano]
Born in Kurashiki City. Studied under Akiko Iguchi, Motonari Iguchi, J. Lataina, Benedetti Michelangeli, S. Lorenzi, and I. Freundrich at Toho Gakuen University, Hartford University, Juilliard School, and Chigiana School of Music. In 1967, he won the 3rd prize in the duo section of the Munich International Music Competition. In 1968, he won the Special Prize for Accompanist at the Budapest International Music Competition and in 1970 at the Tchaikovsky International Music Competition. Since then, he has performed with famous artists such as Janos Starker, Paul Tortelier, Peter Lucas-Graf, Itzhak Perlman, André Navarra, Ivry Gitlis, Uto Ughi, Mischa Maisky, Maurice Gendron, etc. In addition, for 20 years, every summer he taught chamber music classes with Professor Riccardo Brengola at the Conservatoire de Chigiana in Siena. Since 1976, he has presided over "Shu Iwasaki Music in Style". For 18 years from 1979, he planned and held the "Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival", followed by the "Okinawa International Music Festival" from 1997 with his younger brother Ko Iwasaki. In 1989, he received the Art Festival Award for his achievements in "Shu Iwasaki Music in Style." In January 1999, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Norway. In March, he traveled with Ko Iwasaki to Istanbul, Ankara, and Rome as a music envoy of the Japan Foundation. Currently, in addition to his performance activities, he is a jury member of Italy's Valsesia Musica and the Cantu International Music Competition, and is a professor at Toho Gakuen Graduate School from 1999 to March 2008. He also teaches at Kurashiki Sakuyo University and Shobi Gakuen University Graduate School. . Advisor of the Kurashiki City Cultural Promotion Foundation. In July 2005, he received the Fukutake Cultural Award together with Kou. In March 2006, he served as head of the jury at the 1st Takamatsu International Piano Competition. In July 2007, he gave a master class at the Gubbio Music Festival in Italy and performed with the Archimede Quartet. In October of the same year, he performed with Ivry Gitlis (violin) in Sapporo, and in November he performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto with Ko Iwasaki and Jun Iwasaki with the Okayama Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2008, he co-starred with Uto Woogi (violin), performing in various places and gaining popularity. In November 2008, he has been active in a wide range of activities, including a concert trip to Taiwan. In March 2010, he served as head of the jury at the 2nd Takamatsu International Piano Competition following the 1st. ● Shien-ta Su [Violin]
Started playing the violin at the age of 5. In 1986, he graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris with the highest rank. Principal player of the Orchester Lamoureux and concertmaster of the Orchester de l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, he has held recital tours throughout France.
In 1989, she made her concerto debut in Taiwan. In 1990-1991, he performed a concerto tour in the United States and Canada with the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. In February 1992, he performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto with the Beijing Central Philharmonic Orchestra, and also performed in New York. In 1993, he performed concerto with the Taipei Philharmonic at the Musikverein in Vienna, France, Italy, Belgium and Latvia. In 2001-2002, he taught at National Tsing Hua University and also worked as a residential artist. In August 2002, he performed in Finland and Estonia with the Taipei Philharmonic. In June 2004, he performed with the Taipei Philharmonic in St. Petersburg, Moscow. He has also performed at many international music festivals in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Costa Rica. In 2006, he held a series of concerts in various parts of Taiwan to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his return to Japan, which attracted a great deal of attention. In 2007, he toured Norway, Denmark, and Sweden as a solo violinist and conductor of the Taipei Philharmonic, receiving high praise from local newspapers. Currently, he is Dean of the Department of Music, National Taipei University of the Arts, Institute of Orchestral Percussion Arts, and Director of the Institute of Arts. ●Chen-hung Ho [Viola]
After graduating from National Taiwan University of the Arts, studied under Maurice Husson, Dominique Richard, and Gérard Cosset at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He also participated in the orchestra class of the Paris National Conservatoire, where he studied under Jean Dupuis and Laurent Vemey.
Currently, he is the principal violist of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, and teaches at the National Taipei University of the Arts, the National Taiwan University of the Arts, and the Fu Jen Catholic University.


Ko Iwasaki [Cello]
1960 Japan Music Competition 1st place, grand prize. After studying at Toho Gakuen High School, studied abroad at the Juilliard School. He studied under Hideo Saito, Leonard Rose, Harvey Shapiro, and Pablo Casals. Debuted at Carnegie Recital Hall in New York in 1965 with the Young Concert Artists Series. Since then, he has won top prizes at international cello competitions in Vienna, Munich, Budapest, Casado, Tchaikovsky, etc.
The following year, he was recognized by André Previn and made his European debut with the London Symphony Orchestra. In 1971, he won the Minister of Education Award for Art Encouragement for Newcomers and the Record Grand Prize at the Arts Festival for his contemporary Japanese cello masterpiece system.
Since 1974, while teaching at Illinois State University in the United States, he has been active in the fields of solo and chamber music in the United States, Europe, and the former Soviet Union. Participated in festivals around the world, including Marlborough, Aspen, Rockenhaus, and Kuhmo. In Japan, he has created a sensation in chamber music by presiding over the Tokyo Chamber Soloists and planning and holding the "Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival".
In 1990 and 1994, he served as a jury member at the Cassado and Tchaikovsky International Competitions. In 1996 and 1998, he participated in cello congresses in various countries as a member of the cello ensemble Saito and as a soloist. Formed the Japan String Quartet in 1995 and performed all Beethoven string quartets. He is also active in the Saito Kinen Orchestra. In 2008, he released a collection of unaccompanied cello works from the Camerata label, and in 2009, the modern Japanese cello masterpiece system was reprinted and released from Tower Records.
Currently a professor at Toho Gakuen Graduate School. Based in the United States, he continues to perform all over the world.
