Shuku Iwasaki [Piano]
Born in Kurashiki City. Studied under Akiko Iguchi, Motonari Iguchi, J. Lataina, Benedetti Michelangeli, S. Lorenzi, and I. Freundrich at Toho Gakuen University, Hartford University, Juilliard School, and Chigiana School of Music. In 1967, he won the 3rd prize in the duo section of the Munich International Music Competition. Received special accompanist prizes at the 1968 Budapest and 1970 Tchaikovsky International Music Competitions. Since then, he has collaborated with renowned artists in Japan and abroad such as Janos Starker, Paul Tortelier, Peter Lucas-Graf, Itzhak Perlman, André Navarra, Ivry Gitlis, Ute Ugi, Mischa Maisky, and Maurice Gendron. In addition to co-starring, for 20 years he taught chamber music classes with Professor Riccardo Brengola at the Conservatoire de Chigiana in Siena every summer. Since 1976, he has presided over "Shu Iwasaki Music in Style". For 18 years from 1979, he planned and held the "Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival", followed by the "Okinawa International Music Festival" from 1997 with his younger brother Ko Iwasaki. In 1989, he received the Art Festival Award for his achievements in "Shu Iwasaki Music in Style." In January 1999, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Norway. In March, he traveled with Ko Iwasaki to Istanbul, Ankara, and Rome as a music envoy of the Japan Foundation. Currently, in addition to his performance activities, he is a jury member of Italy's Valsesia Musica and Cantu International Music Competition, and a professor at Toho Gakuen Graduate School from 1999 to March 2008. He is a visiting professor at a university. Advisor of the Kurashiki City Cultural Promotion Foundation. In July 2005, he received the Fukutake Cultural Award together with Kou. In 2006 and 2010, he served as head of the jury at the Takamatsu International Piano Competition. In July 2007, he gave a master class at the Gubbio Music Festival in Italy and performed with the Archimede Quartet. In October of the same year, he performed with Ivry Gitlis (violin) in Sapporo, and in November he performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto with Ko Iwasaki and Jun Iwasaki with the Okayama Philharmonic Orchestra. Katsunori Kono [Baritone]
Born in Yamaguchi prefecture. Studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts and Graduate School of the same, and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich as a West German Government Scholarship Student. Winner of the Geneva International Music Competition and the 's-Hertogenbosch International Vocal Competition. Starting with recitals in Europe and Japan, he is active in concerts of opera, orchestra, and religious music. As a soloist, he has performed with conductors such as Seiji Ozawa, Kazushi Ono, K.Nagano, K.Azuma, and G.Bertini. At the New National Theatre, he has appeared in "The Magic Flute" (Papageno), "La Bohème" (Schaunard), "Clown" (Tonio), etc. As part of the recital series, she challenges and plans various songs and gains popularity. In the series "New Uta Monogatari", the 2nd "Wolf's World" (piano: Ichiro Nodaira) won the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Excellence Award, and the 10th was entitled "Mahler's World", the first orchestral song in Japan. ● Machiko Shimada [Violin]
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts at the top of his class and received the Ataka Prize. In 1999, he traveled to Germany, where he spent six years studying in various parts of Europe. So far, he has won many prizes in domestic and international competitions, including the 2nd prize at the Music Competition of Japan, the 1st prize at the Japan Mozart Music Competition, the Paganini International Violin Competition, and the JS Bach International Competition. Received the Aichi Prefecture Art and Culture Award and the Nagoya City Art Encouragement Award. As a soloist, he has given recitals in Tokyo and Nagoya, and performed with various orchestras such as Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, and Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra. Since 1998, he has performed with the Saito Kinen Orchestra and the Mito Chamber Orchestra every year, and has participated in overseas tours. As for chamber music, he has participated in the Casals Hall Ensemble and planned and performed in performances hosted by Nagoya Shirakawa Hall. He has studied under Chikashi Tanaka, Marco Ricci, and Isaac Stern. Currently, the NPO Yellow Angel lends a musical instrument made by GB Guadagnini in 1769.

Sayaka Hori [cello] Sayaka Hori
Started playing the cello at the age of 7. Studied under Keiko Matsunami and Ko Iwasaki.
Graduated from the high school attached to Tokyo College of Music. Received a special student scholarship for 7 years while in school.
Performed at the 76th Yomiuri Rookie Concert. After that, he further studied at Toho Gakuen Graduate School. During her studies, she performed a concerto with the Toho Academy Orchestra conducted by Kazuyoshi Akiyama. He has appeared in numerous concerts, including the NHK-FM recital, the Mainichi Shimbun-sponsored childhood cancer charity concert, the ensemble series raised by JT, and the Sanyo Broadcasting charity concert. He has participated in Kurashiki Music Festival, Okinawa International Music Festival, Schraan International Music Festival in Italy, Kyoto International Music Student Festival, Beppu Argerich Music Festival, La Folle Journée au Japon, etc.


Masanori Aoyama [composition, arrangement, piano] Masanori Aoyama
Born in Tokyo in 1983. Started playing the piano at the age of 3. After majoring in piano at Tokyo Metropolitan Art High School, graduated from Toho Gakuen University Music Department majoring in composition in 2006. He has studied piano under the late Sachiko Fukuoka, Akira Matsumoto, and Maho Yoshida, and composition under Makoto Sato, Noriya Masakado, and Takashi Arakaki. He has worked on commissioned works for many orchestras, ensembles, and brass bands such as the Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, and has also provided music for TV programs such as NHK Educational "Viewpoints / Issues", NHKBS, Fuji TV's monthly 9 drama, TV commercials such as NTT Docomo, and others. He has been active in a wide range of fields, such as composing and arranging movies such as "Journey to the West" and "Kunt", sound producing CD albums, etc., orchestral works such as Live and movies, and orchestral arrangements. Since April 2012, he has been in charge of music for NHK Radio [NHK Today's News at 7 pm].
