David Seidel (bassoon)David Seidel, Fagott
Born 1976 in Salzburg (Austria). Studied under Milan Turkovich, Yoshinori Tominaga, and Richard Galler at the Mozarteum College of Music. Received the Austrian Federal Government Encouragement Award for excellent results. In 1998, he joined the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, and in 2004 he was appointed principal player, a position he continues to this day. In addition to performing as a guest with orchestras representing Europe such as the Vienna Philharmonic and the Munich Philharmonic, he has performed as a soloist with the Wiener Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra. He has also performed with other groups such as the Baole Wien Wind Quintet. Since 2010, he has been teaching younger generations as a professor of bassoon at Graz Kunitachi College of Music, and is also a lecturer at the Hamamatsu International Academy of Wind Instruments in Japan. His debut CDs "David Seidel Bassoon and Piano" (2008) and "Theophil Ensemble" (2011) have been released from Classic Concert Records, and "Baole Quintet" (2014) from Camerata Tokyo.
Midori Nagahara (piano)

After studying at the High School of Music attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, he graduated from the same university at the top of his class. After serving as a part-time lecturer (assistant accompanist in the department of wind instruments) at the same university, he has performed as an ensemble pianist with musicians both in Japan and overseas, including official accompaniment for music festivals and competitions, recitals and CD recordings.
The 66th Japan Music Competition highest prize. He has performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra, and the Geidai Philharmonia.
Studied piano under Emiko Ebihara, Ikuyo Kamiya, Mieko Harimoto, Yuriko Miyake, Chimiko Tami, and Yutaka Kadono, and chamber music under the late Chikashi Tanaka, Kiyoshi Okayama, and Kenji Watanabe.
Yumi Matsumoto (bassoon)
Yuumi Matsumoto, Fagott
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating from the master's course soloist class at the Cologne University of Music with the best grades, he graduated from the orchestra academy course with the highest marks. Since 2009, he has been studying at the Seiji Ozawa Music School, Milan Scala Orchestra Academy, Mahler Chamber Orchestra Academy, and German Rhine State Opera Duisburg (trainee). He has also appeared as an extra in domestic and international orchestras such as the Deutsche Kammerphilharmoniker, the Deutsche Rhine State Opera, the La Scala Chamber Orchestra of Milan, and the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. So far, he has studied under Masayuki Okamoto, Mikiko Kawamura, G. Curtsch, V. Zucchiatti, and U. Hermann. Currently, while enrolled in the State Performer's Course at the Faculty of Music, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, he is also a bassoon teacher at the Bonn Municipal Music School, the Cologne Municipal Music School, and the Antonius Kollek School.
