Biography

Monique De Margerie, piano

Born in Schaburg, Quebec, Canada. Studied under Alicia Campos at the Montreal Conservatoire. After graduating with honors, he studied under Gitti Pirner at the Stadtlich Hochschule für Musik in Munich, Germany, and obtained a diploma. Studied under Monique Dechauset in France and Eke Mendez in Switzerland for about two years each, furthering her studies. In Paris, he taught for many years at the Konig Conservatory.
He has performed frequently with violinists Linus Roth, Nicholas Chumachenko, and others, and has performed on national radio broadcasts in Germany, Switzerland, and Canada. In 1996 and 1998, he toured Japan with his piano duo partner, Shandra Lowry.
From 2003 to 2011, he taught at Laval University, Quebec, Canada, and was also active as an accompanist. In 2011, he performed with the Quebec Symphony. He also travels to India and Southeast Asia. Currently residing in Toronto. He has also taught chamber music with members of the Toronto Symphony, the Royal Academy of Music in Toronto, the (Glenn Gould) School and the University of Toronto. In 2012, he was also a juror of the Canadian Music Competition.

Yutaka Suzuki, cello
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music. Completed research student at the same university. Studied the cello under V. Adamira, (the late) Yasushi Horie, Takayuki Miki, Shozo Kurokawa, Soichi Katsuta, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Ko Iwasaki, N. Shakhovskaya, and B. Bowman. Studied chamber music with M. France, B. Bowman, S. Jacques and others.
Encouragement Award at the Kirishima International Music Festival. Winner of the Tokyo International Art Association, the All Japan Performers' Association, and the International Art Federation's newcomer auditions. In addition to chamber music, orchestral and solo activities, he also teaches younger generations.
