After graduating from Toho Gakuen University, he went to study abroad in France and obtained a diploma in piano and chamber music in the 3rd course of the Lyon Conservatoire. In 1982, he won the PTNA Young Pianist Competition Class F, silver without gold. In 1990, NHK-FM debut recital appearance. In the same year, he won the 1st prize in the piano category at the 2nd Takarazuka Vega Music Competition. In 1997, he won the Best Pianist Award at the Maurice Ravel International Music Academy in France. In 1999, he performed with the Chamber Orchestra of Auvergne, France. From 2001 to the spring of 2009, he served as an accompanist for the wind instrument department at Tokyo University of the Arts. Currently, he performs a wide range of performance activities with domestic and foreign musicians, mainly in Japan and France. She has studied under Etsuko Ichida, Masako Nakajima, Miyoko Goldberg/Miyoko Yamane, Haruko Seki, P. Pontier, and JF Esser.
