Shuku Iwasaki [Piano]
Born in Kurashiki City. Studied under Akiko Iguchi, Motonari Iguchi, J. Lataina, A. Benedetti Michelangeli, S. Lorenzi, and I. Freundrich at Toho Gakuen University, Hartford University, Juilliard School, and Chigiana School of Music. In 1967, he won the 3rd prize in the duo section of the Munich International Music Competition. Received the Best Accompanist Award at the 1968 Budapest and 1970 Tchaikovsky International Music Competitions. Since then, he has performed and recorded many recordings with famous musicians such as J. Starker, P. Tortelier, P. L. Graf, I. Perlman, A. Navarra, I. Gitlis, U. Ughi, M. Maisky, and M. Gendron. Since 1976, he has presided over "Shu Iwasaki Music in Style". Received the 1989 Art Festival Award. For 18 years from 1979, he planned and held the "Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival" and the "Okinawa International Music Festival" from 1997 with his younger brother Ko Iwasaki. For 20 years he taught chamber music classes with Professor R. Brengola at the Conservatoire de Chigiana in Siena. He has given masterclasses in Gubbio, Rovere, Italy, and Courchevel, France.
Currently, in addition to his performance activities, he is a jury member at the Cantu International Music Competition in Italy, chief jury member at the 3rd Takamatsu International Piano Competition, and acting music director. He has served as a professor at Toho Gakuen Graduate School and a visiting professor at Shobi Gakuen University Graduate School, and is currently a visiting professor at Mukogawa Women's University and Kurashiki Sakuyo University. Advisor of the Kurashiki City Cultural Promotion Foundation. He presides over the chamber music group Caro Rosa. Chairman of the International Music Festival Young Prague Japan Executive Committee. His publications include "Ensemble no Joy", "Pianist's Everyday Basic Practice Book" (both published by Shunjusha), and "If there is music" (co-authored by Ko Iwasaki/Kibito Publishing).
In 2005, he received the Fukutake Cultural Award, and in 1999, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Norway. In January 2014, he won the 24th Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Music Award Special Award, and in February of the same year, the 26th Music Pen Club Music Award Classical Category Special Award.

●Yoshie Ueno, flute
After attending the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, he graduated from the same university with the Acanthus Music Award. Completed master's course at the same university. 1st place at the 76th Music Competition of Japan, Iwatani Award (Audience Award), Kato Award, Yoshida Award, E. Nakamichi Award. 1st place in the 2nd Tokyo Music Competition. 1st place at the 15th Japan Woodwind Competition, Cosmos Award (Audience Award), Hyogo Prefectural Governor's Award, Asahi Shimbun Award. Semifinalist of the 1st Beijing Nicolet International Flute Competition. To date, he has performed with the Yomiuri Nikkyo, Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra, Geidai Philharmonic Orchestra, Seto Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Sextet, etc. . In addition to solo recitals in various places, he performs in front of the Imperial Palace at Tokagakudo in the Imperial Palace and at the prime minister's official residence. So far, he has released 3 CDs from Octavia Records. It was selected as a semi-selected board of "Record Geijutsu" and the Asahi Shimbun's special board. Currently a lecturer at Muramatsu Lesson Center and Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.

● Kozo Kakizaki, oboe
In 1983, he graduated from the Faculty of Music, Kyoto City University of Arts. While in school, won the 51st Japan Music Competition. In 1984, he studied abroad at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich as a DAAD German Government Scholarship Student. While studying abroad, he performed as a guest with many orchestras such as the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Bach Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Returned to Japan in 1987. Won 1st prize in the oboe section of the 4th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. After working with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, he is currently the principal oboist of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. As a member of the Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo, he is also active as a soloist and chamber musician, and as an associate professor at Toho Gakuen University, he is also teaching the next generation. Studied under Isamu Iwasaki and Gunter Passin.

Kaori Tanaka, clarinet
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. After graduating from Kunitachi College of Music, he studied abroad at the Basel City Conservatory of Music and obtained the national performer qualification and the soloist national qualification at the top. 1st prize at the 78th Music Competition of Japan, 2nd prize at the 2nd Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition, Grand Prize in the Basel Orchester Federation BOG Contest, 2nd prize at the 3rd Torino International Music Competition, Kitakyushu Civic Cultural Encouragement Award Awarded. Appeared in Tokyo Opera City Recital Series B→C, NHK-FM "Kimamani Classic", "Meikyoku Recital", Kitakyushu International Music Festival 2010, etc. As a soloist, he has performed with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the Basel Chamber Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, and others.
After 10 years of musical activities in Europe, including teaching at the Basel University of Music and working as a guest principal player with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and the Camerata Bern, he moved to Japan in the fall of 2014, where he currently works as a soloist. Active in fields such as chamber music. He is also actively involved in performing contemporary works, and has a wide repertoire that includes standard works and theatrical works that involve body movements. Part-time lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music, former lecturer at the Basel Conservatory of Music.


●Koji Okazaki, bassoon
Born in Hiroshima City. After graduating from Musashino Academia Musicae, he studied abroad at the Detmold Northwestern German Academy of Music as a DAAD German Government Exchange Scholarship student. From 1978 to 2009, he was the principal bassoonist of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Currently, as a professor at Musashino Academia Musicae, a visiting professor at Tokyo University of the Arts, and a lecturer at Elisabeth University of Music, he is active as a soloist and as a chamber musician. In Germany, Hungary, and Bulgaria, he has held solo, concerto, chamber music concerts, and master classes. 1973 2nd prize at the 42nd NHK Mainichi Music Competition. He has released numerous concerto, solo, and chamber music CDs from Naxos, Hungalton, Meister Music, King Records, and others.

Masato Yoshinaga, horn
In 1985, when he was in high school, he won the Gold Prize and Special Prize in the Horn Division at the 1st Japan Wind and Percussion Festival. In the same year, at the age of 17, he was the youngest participant in the 2nd Japan Wind and Percussion Competition and won first place in the horn category. Graduated from Tokyo College of Music after attending high school attached to Tokyo College of Music. From 1994, he spent a year studying at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, Germany. In 2001, he gave a solo recital at Casals Hall in Tokyo, which was well received. As a soloist, he has performed concertos with masters such as Seiji Ozawa, Michiyoshi Inoue, Kazuhiro Koizumi, and G. Bosse. As a member of the Tokyo Horn Quartet, Oilos Ensemble, Nagisa Brass Soloisten, etc., he has released CDs and is active in many fields. Currently, he is the principal horn player of the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and lecturer at Tokyo College of Music, Toho Gakuen University, and Toho Gakuen College of Art.
