Shu Iwasaki (piano)
Born in Kurashiki City. Studied under Akiko Iguchi, Motonari Iguchi, J. Lataina, A. Benedetti Michelangeli, S. Lorenzi, and I. Freundrich at Toho Gakuen University, Hartford University, Juilliard School, and Chigiana Conservatory in Italy. In 1967, he won the 3rd prize in the duo section of the Munich International Music Competition. Received the Best Accompanist Award at the 1968 Budapest and 1970 Tchaikovsky International Music Competitions. Since then, he has performed and recorded many recordings with famous musicians such as J. Starker, P. Tortelier, P. L. Graf, I. Perlman, A. Navarra, I. Gitlis, U. Ughi, M. Maisky, and M. Gendron. Since 1976, he has presided over "Shu Iwasaki Music in Style". Received the 1989 Art Festival Award. For 18 years from 1979, he planned and held the "Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival" and the "Okinawa International Music Festival" from 1997 with his younger brother Ko Iwasaki. For 20 years he taught chamber music classes with Professor R. Brengola at the Conservatoire de Chigiana in Siena. He has given masterclasses in Gubbio, Rovere, Italy, and Courchevel, France.
Currently, in addition to his performance activities, he is a judge at the Cantu International Music Competition in Italy, and the head judge at the 1st to 4th Takamatsu International Piano Competitions. Until 2008, she served as a professor at Toho Gakuen Graduate School, as well as a visiting professor at Shobi Gakuen University Graduate School, Mukogawa Women's University, and currently a visiting professor at Kurashiki Sakuyo University. Advisor to the Kurashiki City Cultural Promotion Foundation, Chairman of the Japan Grieg Association. He presides over the chamber music group Caro Rosa. Chairman of the International Music Festival Young Prague Japan Executive Committee. His publications include Ensemble no Yorokobi, Pianist's Daily Basic Exercise Book, Pianist's Daily Basic Exercise Book: Scale & Arpeggio, Rakuko no Momento (all published by Shunjusha), and Music If There's Only One. In 2005, he received the Fukutake Cultural Award, and in 1999, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Norway. In January 2014, he received the 24th Nippon Steel & Sumikin Music Award Special Award, the 26th Music Pen Club Music Award Classical Category Special Award in February of the same year, and the 76th Sanyo Shimbun Award (Cultural Merit) in January 2018.

Kyu Won Han (Baritone)
Born in Seoul, South Korea. Graduated from Manhattan Conservatory of Music. He has received many awards, including the Belvedere International Vocal Competition (Austria), the Puccini Aranese International Competition, and the Dicapo Opera Competition (all in the United States). In 1999, he made his operatic debut in the title role of "Don Giovanni" at the San Francisco Opera. Since then, he has played a wide range of roles around the world, such as the role of Figaro in the Bordeaux Opera "Barber of Seville", the title role in the Korean National Opera "Orfeo", and the role of Scarpia in the Opera Idaho "Tosca".
Debuted in Japan in 2001 as Papageno in the New National Theatre, The Magic Flute. Appeared in Hyogo Performing Arts Center's opera "Madame Butterfly" as Sharpless, Yamadori, "Tosca" as Angelotti, and "Cosi fan tutte" as Guglielmo. He has also performed with the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra under Yutaka Sado's "German Requiem" and "Carmina Burana". In September 2018, he is scheduled to appear in Haydn's "Creation of Heaven and Earth" by the same orchestra.
