This concert is a rare concert where you can enjoy music for the bassoon by Kiyoshi Koyama, a master of the bassoon (French-style bassoon) who is active around the world. In addition to the first performance of the Bassoon Concerto composed by Tetsunori Osawa, we present rare masterpieces of chamber music by Hiroshi Yamaguchi and Takashi Yoshimatsu. In the first half of the concert, “Bassoon and Orchestra,” we performed with a regular bassoon, and in the second half, “Japanese elegance,” we performed a bonnet (the tip of the bassoon) made from a 260-year-old pine tree that was knocked down by the tsunami following the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011. ) will be played. It has been decided that this concert will be recorded live and made into a CD. We are looking forward to your visit to the live performance full of tension by the rare bassoon.
