Profile

Nagako Matano (piano)
Completed post-graduate course at the Geneva Conservatoire (currently Geneva Conservatoire Graduate School) at the top of his class.
Studied under Professor L. Hildbrun at the same conservatory. At the end of the course, he received the 1st Prize of the Performer's Course and the Paderewski Memorial Filippinetti Special Prize.
Debut recital in 1985 in Osaka. Since then, he has performed recitals in Tokyo and Osaka, NHK FM Fresh Concert, and joint recitals, and has performed with many musicians both in Japan and overseas.
In recent years, she gave recitals in Kansai and Tokyo in 2009, 2011, 2014, and 2016, and from 2003 to 2009, she performed in the series "Shuko Matano: An Evening with Mozart and Schubert," colored with beautiful sounds and rich imagination. Mozart and Schubert, which exuded a deep humanity, were well received. The 2009-2013 chamber music series "Rakuko no Toki" was also successfully completed.
Currently, he is teaching younger students at Kyoto City University of Arts.

Tsunemi Naraba (piano)
Graduated from Toho Gakuen University after studying music at Toho Gakuen Girls' High School (coeducational). Completed post-graduate course at Geneva Conservatoire (currently Geneva Higher Conservatory Graduate School).
In 1980, won the Maria Canals International Competition Diploma Prize. In 1982, he won the Viotti International Competition Diploma Prize and the 7th Tchaikovsky International Competition Best Accompanist Prize.
Debut recital at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall in January 1984. Since then, he has regularly held recitals at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan. In addition to giving recitals throughout Japan, she has appeared on NHK-FM "Afternoon Recital", "Fresh Concert" and "FM Recital".
As a chamber musician, she has appeared in many concerts (1985-1988) throughout Japan as a partner of Ms. Mariko Senju, and has performed with many musicians both at home and abroad.
So far, he has studied under Hidemitsu Hayashi, Midori Tanabe, Masayasu Oshima, and L. Hildbrunn.
Professor at Toho Gakuen University and part-time lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music.
