Profile

Itsuko Kobatake (piano)
Born in Tokyo. In 1980, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Department of Piano. Moved to Germany in '81. Entered West German National Lübeck College of Music. During his studies, he performed with the Hamburger Sinfonica. Held a recital in Lübeck. Appeared in German broadcasting by audition. Graduated from the '82 Konzert Exermen (German State Performer's Qualification Examination) with the best grades.
Returned to Japan in '83. He has performed with domestic orchestras such as the Tama Orchestra. In 1985, he started giving recitals.
Since 1993, he has held 15 recitals at Tsuda Hall and Oji Hall. Appeared in Asahi Seimei Hall Chamber Music Series, 1991 "Mozart Concert", 1997 "Schubert Brahms Feature", 1998 "20th Century Music History". In 1997 and 1998, he appeared in the NHK FM concert under the same program. Well received. In recent years, he has been actively involved in volunteer concerts at facilities such as hospitals and care centers. Released the second CD in November 2020 (Nami Records). A concert in Lubeck, Germany is scheduled for May 2023.
She studied piano under Yasuko Ishii, Hiroko Suenaga, Katsue Fujisawa, Takako Takahashi, Yuko Oki, Kazuko Yasukawa, Roland Keller, and Harue Tsubono in solfege.
