Takuo Yuasa
Born in Osaka, he went to the United States to study after graduating from high school. After studying composition theory at the University of Cincinnati Conservatory, he studied under Hans Swarovski, Franco Ferrara, Igor Markevich, and Lovro von Matacic at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. 1976 Made his debut conducting the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra. In 1979, he won the Vittelberg International Conductor Competition, and the fact that the orchestra awarded him a special prize at that time became a hot topic.
