Eri Takimura (violin)Born in Kobe City. 1st place at the 54th Student Music Competition of Japan, the 3rd Tokyo Music Competition, the 8th Forval Scholarship Stradivarius Competition, and the 77th Music Competition of Japan.
He has performed with Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Yomiuri Nikkyo Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and other major orchestras in Japan. 2009 Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo season member. 2010 Chanel Pygmalion Days participation artist. Since 2010, he has been a registered artist for the Regional Creation Public Hall Music Revitalization Project.
After attending the high school attached to Tokyo University of the Arts, he graduated from the same university at the top of his class and completed its graduate school. Received the Ataka Award, Acanthus Award, and Mitsubishi Estate Award while on campus. Graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with a grant from the ROHM Music Foundation. She has performed with the Philharmonie Baden-Baden as a selected soloist at the Carl Flesh Academy in Germany and has been awarded the Brahms Preis. He has studied under Takako Murata, Masako Kida, G. Poulet, Natori Tamai, Kiyoshi Okayama, J. Meisl, and D. Schwarzberg.
Received the 2013 Kobe City Cultural Encouragement Award, the 2014 Sakai Tokitada Music Award, and the 2016 Kobe Nada Lions Club Music Award. He is currently the principal player of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.
