Christian Lindberg, trombone
Mitsutaka Shiraishi, piano
In response to the cancellation of the Norwegian Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra's visit to Japan due to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident following the Great East Japan Earthquake, conductor Christian Lindbergh asked, "Is there anything we can do for Japan?" As a soloist, he picks up the instrument trombone himself and rushes to hold a charity concert.
We will donate the support money received on the day of the event, excluding the cost of the performance, to the "Kokoro no Reconstruction Music Fund*" as support money for the restoration of music in the disaster area. Please cooperate so that we can help the victims to get well as soon as possible.
[Note] Please select "No payment for free performances" for "Payment method" on the order form. In addition, there may be cases where the "transfer information" is written as 0 yen in the application reception email that is automatically delivered, but please understand that it is a fixed text on the system.
◎Announcement: If there are many applicants, we will draw a lottery and send an invitation to the winners by postcard or email about 10 days before the performance date. (The winner will be announced when the invitation is sent.)
