Not only the well-known “Beautiful Blue Danube” and “Radetzky March”, but also the gorgeous ballet and songs that will make you participate in clapping and shaking your body even if you hear it for the first time, it is a concert that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages.

About the Vienna Salon Orchestra

Formed in 1994 by members of the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra under Udo Zwölfer. The repertoire is very wide, including waltzes from the J. Strauss family, Lanna, Kreisler, Karlmann, Lehár, Stolz, polkas and marches, arias and duets from famous operettas by J. Strauss, and Zwölfer playing the violin and conducting . With a traditional performance style just like J. Strauss, the hall will be filled with a happy atmosphere!

Udo Zwölfer

Studied violin at the Vienna State Academy and the Vienna City Conservatory.

While still a student, he has performed many concerts with famous artists, and has been active in various places in Europe, including Vienna, the United States, Asian countries, and Japan. In 1980, he became the first concertmaster of the Volksoper Wien. In 1994, he founded the "Vienna Salon Orchestra", which consists of orchestral players belonging to the Volksoper Wien. Inaugurated as the first Musical Artistic Director and at the same time as a concertmaster, he has successfully performed more than 5000 concerts in Austria and abroad.
