Yasuo Horiuchi (baritone)Graduated from Keio University Faculty of Law, moved to Italy in 1991. After attending master classes by F. Corelli and G. Pastine, he entered the Milan Verdi Conservatory in the same year and studied in the class of G. Canetti. Also, the generation method is
Studied under N. Scatorini. In 1993, he became the first Japanese male vocalist to win the Toulouse International Competition in 33 years. Received the Gotoh Memorial Cultural Foundation Opera Newcomer Award and the Giraud Opera Award. A member of the Fujiwara Opera Company.
