Takao Okamura Bass-BaritoneGraduated from Waseda University First Department of Politics, Economics, and Newspapers, and Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. Graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Viotti International Music Competition Vocal Music Division gold prize, Toulouse International Music Competition winner. Contracted as the first bass singer at the Linz City Opera in Austria, Kiel in Germany, and the Cologne Opera. Performed in operas and concerts in Europe, including Rome, Paris, Zagreb, and Munich. He shows his versatility in various fields such as opera direction, acting, and writing. Received an award from the Minister of Education in 1998 for his contribution to international cultural exchange. Founded in October 2001, NPO Minna no Opera Artistic Director. Waseda University Art Meritorious Person.
