Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1980. Started playing the piano at the age of 5, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music after attending the High School of Music attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2010, he graduated with the highest marks in the final examination of the Konzerteigsämmer course at the Hanns Eisler College of Music in Berlin, and obtained the State Performer's Qualification.Since he was a student, he has won many prizes such as the Kazusa Academia Piano Competition, the Music Competition of Japan, the Porto International Piano Competition, the Arthur Schnabel International Piano Competition, and the Franz Liszt Prize International Piano Competition.
In 2005, he received a scholarship from the Meiji Yasuda Cultural Foundation for two years.In 2007, he became a trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
He has performed with the New Philharmonic Orchestra Chiba, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, Porto Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, etc.
In chamber music, he has performed with Yoshiaki Suzuki (clarinet), Anna Maria Palmer (soprano) of the Linz Brucknerhaus, and Ria Ideta (marimba).
She has studied under Hitomi Ohata, Mari Dewa, Ikuyo Kamiya, Takako Horie, Midori Tanabe, Emiko Harimoto, H. Sigfridsson, and G. Kupfernagel. He has also attended masterclasses by V. Mischuk, V. Makarov, A. Vardi, Hiroko Nakamura, D. Bashkirov, P. Gililov, and BL Gelber.
Since 2010, he has been studying further at the Liszt Conservatory in Budapest, Hungary, under G. Nardl, and graduated from the same conservatory in 2011.
