NEC will hold the "13th NEC Charity Concert" on February 11, 2014 (national holiday, Tuesday) at the Yokohama Minatomirai Grand Hall.At the "NEC Charity Concert," the NEC Tamagawa Band, composed of NEC Group employees, will perform. On the day of the event, please enjoy a variety of brass music that can be enjoyed by children and adults.
In addition, the purpose of this concert is to support activities that address social issues, and this time, a fundraising activity will be held at the venue on the day to support the activity funds of "El Sistema Japan".
"El Sistema Japan" aims to give dreams and hopes through music to children in Fukushima Prefecture, who have been affected physically and mentally by the nuclear accident after the Great East Japan Earthquake, and to promote the expansion of opportunities for children to achieve self-fulfillment. was established for the purpose.
Musical instruments are provided free of charge to children who want them, and they can receive instruction from school music teachers and specialized musical instrument instructors. Currently, in cooperation with Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, we are actively working on the dreams and hopes of children who will lead the future of Fukushima Prefecture, mainly at elementary schools.
In the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, NEC named the NEC Group's Tohoku reconstruction support activities the "NEC 'TOMONI' Project."
This concert will also be held as part of the "NEC 'TOMONI' Project", and in addition to the performance of the NEC Tamagawa Band, which is composed of employees of NEC and affiliated companies, it will be a hand-made concert that NEC employee volunteers will take the lead in operating. .
