Players who have been with the NHK Symphony Orchestra for many years, who have been with the NHK Symphony Orchestra for more than 10 years as concertmasters, and who have been particularly recognized for their achievements by the NHK Symphony Orchestra, are given the name "Dan-tomo" by the NHK Symphony Orchestra. . The orchestra formed in 1982 by a limited number of members is the NHK Symphony Orchestra friend orchestra. The members are mainly members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra and active players of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, as well as young players recognized by the members of the symphony group. In order to spread awareness of music performances by orchestras, we are developing a wide range of programs nationwide, such as "music appreciation parties" in elementary, junior high and high schools, and "talking concerts" that incorporate light commentary on songs.
