Profile
Nobuyuki Takami (trumpet)Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1979. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2003. Graduated from the Hanns Eisler College of Music in Berlin and Rostock Graduate School of Music with the highest honors, and obtained the German National Performer Qualification. As a soloist, he has performed with the Leipzig Chamber Orchestra, the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. Participated in Saito Kinen Orchestra, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera Project, PMF, etc. Received 1st prize in the 75th Music Competition of Japan in the trumpet section, 2nd prize in the 19th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition in the trumpet section, and the 9th Fukutake Cultural Foundation Encouragement Award. He was a member of the Deutsche Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian State Hof Symphony Orchestra, the Leipzig Opera Orchestra (principal), and the Bach Collegium Stuttgart. He has studied under Hayao Itakura, Mineo Sugiki, Yukihiro Sekiyama, Thomas Kramo (Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra), and Rainer Auerbach (Berlin State Opera). In the fall of 2013, they moved their base from Germany to Japan and started their activities. Enrolled in the Yokohama Sinfonietta and the Okayama Philharmonic Orchestra, and a registered artist of the General Foundation for Regional Creation.
