Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1980. Started playing the piano at the age of 5, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Music Department after attending the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2010, he graduated with the highest score in the graduation examination of the Konzerteigsämmer course at the Berlin "Hans Eisler" University of Music, and obtained the national performer's qualification. After that, he studied at the Liszt Conservatory in Budapest for a year.Since he was a student, he has won numerous prizes at domestic competitions such as the Kazusa Academia Piano Competition and the Music Competition of Japan, as well as numerous international competitions in Germany, Italy, Portugal, etc.
In 2005, he received a scholarship from the Meiji Yasuda Cultural Foundation for two years.In 2007, he became a trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
He has performed with the Geidai Philharmonia, New Philharmonic Chiba, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, etc. In particular, Schumann's Piano Concerto with the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra received high acclaim in German music magazines and newspapers.
In 2010 and 2012, the recitals held at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall received high acclaim in domestic music magazines. Since 2009, he has regularly performed in the recital series of the Liszt Museum in Budapest, and in the spring of 2013 he was invited by the Liszt Society to perform at the opening ceremony of the Wagner-Liszt Music Week held at the museum.
In chamber music, he has performed with Yoshiaki Suzuki (clarinet), Anna Maria Palmer (soprano) of the Linz Brucknerhaus, and Shinichi Eguchi (cello).
She has studied under Hitomi Ohata, Mari Dewa, Ikuyo Kamiya, Takako Horie, Midori Tanabe, Emiko Harimoto, H. Sigfridsson, G. Kupfernagel, and G. Nardl. He has also attended masterclasses by V. Mischuk, V. Makarov, A. Vardi, Hiroko Nakamura, D. Bashkirov, P. Gililov, and BL Gelber.
Currently, while working as a solo pianist and chamber musician, he is also a part-time lecturer at the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.
