Profile
After studying at Tokyo University of the Arts Music High School and Tokyo University of the Arts, completed the piano course at the same graduate school. Received the Ataka Prize while still in school. After that, he graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts with the highest honors, and performed in many solo and chamber music concerts in various places, mainly in Berlin. In 1994, he made his debut recital at Tsuda Hall in Tokyo, and appeared on NHK FM's "Saturday Recital". Since then, he has been highly acclaimed for his fulfilling performances that never disappoint at his regularly held solo recitals. As a soloist, he has performed frequently with orchestras, and is widely active as a chamber music and song accompanist, earning the trust of his co-stars. The 20th anniversary recital held in April this year was highly praised from all quarters, and further activities are expected in the future. Currently a professor at Tokyo Gakugei University.
