Profile

Thomas Bauer received his first musical education in the Regensburg Cathedral Choir and graduated from the Munich Academy of Music and Performing Arts. At the 2014 Salzburg Festival "Two Mozart Matinees" (M. Honeck, A. Fischer), Orff's "Carmina Burana" by the theater ensemble "La Fra del Baus", Steierte Festival, He has performed with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe (N. Harnoncourt) and Offenbach's "Blue Beard", and at the Dijon Theater in France, Wagner's "Ring of the Nibeling" (Wotan) and Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" (The Count).
Together with the Hammer Flugel master Jv Immazer, he holds concerts throughout Europe. He has also released many CDs, including Schubert's "Winter Journey" (Orfedor Gold Award/La Musica Correa Award), Handel's "Apollo and Daphne" (Stanley Sadie & Gramophone Award), and Mendelssohn's "Elias" (Ehyo Magazine Award). many. The documentary film "Winter Journey: Schubert in Siberia", which captures Bauer's recital trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway, has been televised many times. In 2015, Haydn's "The Creation" (Z. Mehta), the Danish National Chamber Orchestra (A. Fischer), the MDR Symphony Orchestra (P. Ahmann), the NDR Symphony Orchestra (M.
