Profile of Naoyuki MurakamiNaoyuki Murakami
After graduating from Musashino Academia Musicae in 1990, he studied at the Hungarian Liszt Conservatory. While studying abroad, he attended master classes in various parts of Europe. In 1993, he gave his first solo recital at the Liszt Conservatory and returned to Japan in the same year. Held recitals at Komaba Eminence in 1994, and at Tsuda Hall in 1996, 2000, 2005 and 2012. In 2000, after his recital at the All Liszt Program at Tsuda Hall, he was listed as one of the Japanese Liszt-playing performers in a special feature in a music magazine (Ongaku Gendai). In 2002, he performed Dvořák's piano quintet at Tsuda Hall. In 2009, he performed Schumann's Piano Concerto with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra at the Great Hall of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.
