Profile
Haruko Takahashi, MarimbaStarted playing the marimba at the age of 3. Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae, completed the master's course at the same graduate school, and acquired credits for the doctoral course at the same graduate school. Appeared in research concerts by graduate students of the same graduate school, exhibitions of works by faculty members of the composition department of the same university, and marimba festivals sponsored by the Japan Xylophone Association. In 2015, he held his first marine recital at Oji Hall. In addition, "Haruko Takahashi Marimba Concert" will be held at "Fureai Hall" in Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture, where she is from. In the same year, he became a member of the Kashiwa City Musicians Association and started performing in the Abiko area. First prize in the marimba section of the International Percussion Competition (Italy) at the 1st International Percussion Festival. 2nd prize in the marimba section of the 16th JILA Music Competition. He studied marimba under Michiko Takahashi and Akemi Myojin, and percussion under Masahiro Okada and Hirofumi Kato. Currently, he is a lecturer at Musashino Academia Musicae, the high school attached to the university, the music classroom attached to the university, and Tsuru University.
Kazuo Ishikawa, Piano
Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae and completed the master's course at the same graduate school. Selected appearances at the graduation concert, the 69th Yomiuri Rookie Concert, etc. In addition to winning the 1st prize at the 2nd Petrov Piano Competition, he has won many other prizes. Currently, while working as a lecturer at Musashino Academia Musicae Music School, he is active as a pianist in solo, vocal, choral, ensemble, etc., including accompaniment for tenor singer Tsutomu Arakaki. As a soloist, he has performed with Musashino College of Music Orchestra, Blossom Philharmonic Orchestra, and Franciacorta Philharmonic Orchestra (Italy). In 2011, released a recital recording CD.
