Profile

Keisuke Fukui Born in Oumu-cho, Monbetsu-gun, Hokkaido in 1991. Graduated from Oumu High School in Hokkaido in 2010. In 2014, he graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae, Department of Music, Virtuoso Department, and performed at the university's graduation concert and the newcomer's concert at the same university's music department. In 2016, he completed the virtuoso course of the master's course at Musashino Academia Musicae Graduate School of Music. 2013 Asia International Music Competition University student piano division 1st place. 2016 Kreutzer Prize winner. In 2012, he performed as a soloist with the Musashino Academia Musicae Orchestra at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall and the Herculessaal in Munich, Germany. In 2014, he performed at the "15th Newcomer Concert" sponsored by the Japan Piano Tuners Association and the "Concert for Music College Graduates" (Toka Gakudo, Imperial Palace). In 2015, he held a lunchtime concert "Keisuke Fukui Piano Recital" at Kawai Omotesando Pause. In 2016, he appeared in the “Concert by Kreutzer Prize Winners”. In 2018, he performed at “Chopin Festival 2018 in Omotesando”. So far, he has studied piano under Mie Ishimura, Sugata Mitsui, Toru Maruyama, Naoaki Fukui, and Kemal Gekic. Currently a part-time lecturer at Musashino Academia Musicae and its music school.
