Profile

Kaeko Hirai
After graduating from Musashino Academia Musicae, Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in piano, he performed at many concerts, including the Musashino Rookie Concert, the Shizuoka Musicians Association Concert, and the Michi no Kai. Attended Jörg Demus' master class at the Salzburg Mozarteum Summer School. He played the harpsichord player in the Shizuoka Prefecture Opera Association performance "The Marriage of Figaro" and served as accompanist for Shizuoka Raon "No. 9" for three terms, and performed Chopin's "Piano Concerto No. 1" with the Tokyo Amadeus Orchestra.
From 1989 to 1992, he studied contemporary music at the JML Seminar Yoshiro Irino Contemporary Music Institute and performed at "PIANO NOW13".
Studied under Masatoshi Kawaguchi, Junko Nagaoka, Yoko Kanno, Yasuko Tani, Midori Tanabe, Misaki Sekawa, and Haruna Hirao.
In 1993, he held recitals at Harajuku Acco Studio, and in 1994 and 2001, at Shinjuku Kakuhazu Kumin Hall.
Since October 2015, she has been enrolled in the Hirao Haruna Piano Academy, and since 2016, has been performing every year at the marathon concert at the Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall.
In December 2019, she gave a recital at Harajuku Ako Studio.
