Profile
Mikameo Wada Tb,Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed the master's course at the same graduate school.
While in school, studied trombone under Masato Yamamoto, Kiyoshi Ito, and K.Putzke. He studied piano under Yoshiko Takayoshi, vocal music under Sachiko Sawada, and conducting under Akio Watanabe.
From the time he was in school to the present, he has accumulated orchestral experience with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, the Osaka Century Symphony Orchestra, and the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. Former New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra member. Studied under R. Baron (Boston Symphony Orchestra principal player) in Boston, USA.
As a member of the Saito Kinen Orchestra conducted by Seiji Ozawa, he has participated in many concerts and recordings both in Japan and overseas. In addition, released a solo album CDI・II.
After working as a lecturer at the Department of Music at Seitoku University and the Orchestral Research Department at Tokyo University of the Arts, he became an assistant professor at Hirosaki University in April 2000 and a professor in April 2004.
He is a member of the Japan Trombone Association, a member of the Japan Wind and Percussion Society, and a member of the International Trombone Association.
