Ken Matsuura, pfLearned piano at the Talented Education Study Group from an early age. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and its graduate school. Since 1993, he has been studying at the Hungarian National Liszt Conservatory. Hungarian Government Scholarship International Student. In 1996, he won the "20th Century Music Best Performance Award" at the Slovakia Bratislava International Piano Competition. Performing mainly in Budapest. Returned to Japan in March 2002. In September of the same year, debut recital at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall. Since then, in his regular recital activities, "The beauty of soft sounds born from delicate breathing and delicate keystrokes", "The unique characteristics and fun of the work overflows, and the essence is wonderfully expressed" (Chopin) Magazine), “Sophisticated Musicality” (Musica Nova Magazine), and “A Large-scale Incandescent Performance” (Ongaku no Tomo Magazine). While doing solo and accompaniment performances in various places, he is expanding his activities, such as writing for piano magazines and appearing on TV Asahi's "Untitled Concert". So far, he has studied piano under F. Rados, S. Farvay, P. Naju, A. Kemenesh, Shozo Tsubota, and Kenji Watanabe, and chamber music under S. Devic, L. Berman, V. Merzhanov, D. He also studied in Bashkirov's master class. From April 2002, lecturer at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
